Fast and Furious 9’ is now casting and preparing to film to meet its April 2019 release window. The producers of the movie expect this edition to be the best of the series and set a benchmark for racing/action movies.
After the death of lead actor, Paul Walker, the franchise faced a long halt, but Universal is in for the next project and aims at creating more ‘Fast and Furious’ films to keep the audience engaged like they always have.
IMDB says that ‘Fast 9’ would bring back some of the main cast from the previous films and that would only add up to the popularity of the already highly anticipated film series. Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson would reprise their roles along with various others from earlier parts of the movies.
‘Fast 8’ was said to be the last in the series, but it was recently announced that the ‘Fast 9’ would be broken into a 10 film series. It would be the second film in the trilogy which would bring an end to the series. According to a lead star’s Instagram posts, the release date for ‘Fast 8: New Roads Ahead’ would be April 19th 2017 and for the other two following it, April 2019 and April 2021 are the due dates. Fingers crossed for the rejuvenation of the mega hit series
